In addition to direct sunlight, this tree also appreciate bright, indirect light when grown indoors. If placed outdoors, ensure they receive sufficient natural light throughout the day to support healthy growth.

These plants are thrive in full sunlight, so it's best to place them in a location where they can receive at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight each day. Position them near a south-facing window or outdoors in a sunny spot to provide ample sunlight.

Olea Europaea prefer well-draining soil and do not like to sit in waterlogged conditions. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering sessions, then water thoroughly until water begins to drain from the bottom of the pot. During the winter months or when the tree is dormant, reduce watering frequency to prevent root rot.

While Olive Trees can tolerate a wide range of humidity levels, they generally prefer moderate humidity. If you live in a dry climate or have indoor heating that reduces humidity levels, consider misting the leaves occasionally or using a humidifier to increase moisture in the air around the plant.

Olive Tree is moderately toxic and can cause some adverse reactions when ingested so it is best to not let your pets eat it, which we advise for all plants in general. The severity of the reaction will depend on how much of the plant is ingested but, if you know your pet typically does not eat your plants, this plant will be suitable for your home.

To promote healthy growth and encourage fruit production, consider fertilizing this plant during the growing season. Use a balanced fertilizer formulated specifically for fruit trees, and apply it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Fertilize once a month from spring to early fall, then reduce frequency during the winter months when the tree is dormant.
