Why add Winter Shipping Protection?
Houseplants come from warm places, and a few hours in a cold delivery truck can be enough to damage their leaves. If daytime highs where you live are below 15°C, we recommend adding Winter Shipping Protection to your order.
One Winter Shipping Protection covers one box, which holds about 10–12 small plants (fewer if you're ordering large ones). For bigger orders, add one per box. Not sure how many you need? Add one, and we'll contact you if your order needs another. It's available for both shipped orders and Local GTA Delivery.
What you get
- Thermal wrap around your plants to hold in warmth.
- A 72-hour heat pack in the box to keep things warm the whole way.
- Weather checks. We watch the forecast and pick shipping days when it's safe for your plants to travel.
- Cold damage coverage. If your plants are hurt by the cold anyway, our 30-Day Happy Plant Guarantee covers it.
If you skip it
We'll pack your plants the regular way, without the thermal wrap or heat pack. If they're damaged by the cold on the way, that isn't covered by our 30-Day Happy Plant Guarantee, so we can't replace them.
If something goes wrong
Email us at support@mygreenscape.ca with a photo of the whole plant, a close-up of the damage, and the packing slip from the box. We'll take care of it.
