About This Plant

Green Fantasy Fern is a compact, densely branched asparagus-type fern that produces needle-like bright green leaflets arranged in a full, lush clumping form. It stays compact and tidy, reaching 25 to 40 cm tall and wide.

The compact, feathery form is lush looking. Green Fantasy produces an exceptionally full, layered canopy of fine leaflets that gives it a rich, dense look despite its small size. On a bright shelf or bathroom counter it creates the impression of a much larger, lush tropical plant.

Safe for cats and dogs. Green Fantasy Fern is confirmed non-toxic to cats and dogs by the ASPCA. It is pet-safe. The Crocodile Fern is another confirmed pet-safe fern with a very different bold textured frond.

It handles moderate indoor humidity better than many delicate ferns. It tolerates average indoor humidity through the heating season better than Boston Ferns or Maidenhair Ferns. A bathroom or kitchen position in a bright spot suits it well.
