Hoya Rosita prefers medium to bright light conditions. While it can tolerate lower light, vibrant colors and healthy growth are more likely in a bright space, especially near an east or west-facing window.

They enjoy some direct sun, but they'll also do well in bright, indirect light. It is best to place your Hoya Rosita where it receives soft morning sunlight or filtered afternoon rays, followed by bright, indirect light for the rest of the day.

Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Hoya Rosita stores water in its succulent-like leaves, so it’s drought-tolerant and doesn't like wet feet. Overwatering is one of the fastest ways to harm it.

This plant is adaptable and does fine in average household humidity. However, it’ll appreciate a little boost in humidity, especially during the winter when indoor air gets drier. A pebble tray or occasional misting can help.
