How to Care for Your Plants with the Right Accessories?
Overwatering kills more indoor plants than anything else. A Sustee Moisture Indicator takes the guessing out of it completely. It reads moisture at root level, not the surface, and turns white when the soil is actually dry enough to water again.
How to Choose the Right Accessories for Your Space?

Big plants tipping over?
Heavy ceramics like the Pot Rubi Ema give large top-heavy plants the counterweight they need. Areca Palms and Money Trees get wobbly in lightweight plastic pots, especially once the canopy fills out.
-
Desk or bookshelf display
Thematic planters like the Vivienne Face Pot turn trailing plants into something sculptural. The foliage drapes down like hair which honestly looks way more interesting than a standard ceramic pot on a shelf.
-
Dealing with gnats constantly?
It's almost always a topsoil moisture problem. Grab sticky gnat traps for the adults and switch to bottom watering with a deep saucer. Attacks the problem from both ends without spraying anything.

30-Day Happy Plant Guarantee
If a plant arrives damaged or fails to settle, you can easilyreplace it within 30 daysof your purchase.
How to Fix Common Plant Problems with Accessories?
That's anaerobic rot. The soil has compacted and roots can't breathe. Pull the plant out, trim anything black or mushy, and repot into a chunky soilless mix. The air pockets in the bark restore oxygen flow almost immediately.
When peat based soil dries out completely it turns hydrophobic and repels water instead of absorbing it. Replace it with a mix that has wetting agents built in, like the Connaisseur blend.
You're probably only killing adults and missing the larvae in the soil. Switch to bottom watering so the top inch stays dry, put sticky traps right above the soil line and be patient. Takes about two weeks to break the full lifecycle.
Top heavy plants in lightweight pots are an accident waiting to happen. Move them into something heavier with a low center of gravity. The ceramic holds the plant upright and looks better doing it.

Frequently Asked Questions
For large pots and rot prone plants, yes you need one. The finger test only checks the top inch. Water pools at the bottom of deep containers and you'd never know without checking the root zone directly.
You can but they won't do as well long term. Standard soil holds too much moisture and compacts over time. A soilless chunky mix gives roots the airflow they need, which is why most aroid growers switch eventually.
Wet topsoil. That is where they lay eggs. Bottom watering through a saucer keeps the surface dry and sticky traps catch whatever adults are already flying around.
