Bear’s Paw Succulent Variegated thrives in bright spaces. It prefers bright, filtered light but can tolerate some gentle direct sun. Avoid dark corners or low light conditions—they’ll get leggy fast.

They enjoy some direct sun, but they'll also do well in bright, indirect light. It is best to place this plant somewhere where it will receive some nice morning sun, or a couple hours of afternoon sun, and then indirect light the rest of the day.

Allow the soil to mostly dry out between waterings. Stick your finger in the soil—if the top 2 inches are dry, it’s time to water. Be extra cautious in cooler months when the plant uses less water.

This succulent doesn’t need extra humidity. Average home humidity is just fine, and it prefers drier air over too much moisture.

Caution – Bear’s Paw is mildly toxic if ingested. Keep it out of reach of curious pets and kids.

Use a cactus or succulent soil mix with excellent drainage. A small pot with a drainage hole will help prevent root rot, which this plant is very prone to if overwatered.
