About This Plant

Dracaena Lemon Lime is a cultivar of Dracaena deremensis native to tropical Africa. It grows upright, reaching 60 to 90 cm tall indoors, and is one of the most distinctively coloured Dracaenas available. The vivid lime-yellow colouring adds warm luminosity to a bright room.

It is the warmest colouring in the Dracaena family. Most Dracaenas are green, deep green, or have modest colour accents. The Lemon Lime is different because its dominant tone is a bright chartreuse-yellow that functions almost like a light source in a room, making the space feel warmer and brighter. The colour is most vivid in bright indirect light.

Keep it away from pets and children. The ASPCA confirms Dracaena spp. is toxic to cats and dogs. The plant contains saponins that cause vomiting, excessive drooling, weakness, and loss of appetite. In cats, ingestion can also cause dilated pupils. Keep it out of reach of pets and small children.
