Philodendron Mars prefers a spot with medium to bright light but will adapt to slightly lower conditions. Avoid placing it in full shade or under harsh midday sun, which can scorch the foliage.

They enjoy some direct sun, but they'll also do well in bright, indirect light. It is best to place this plant somewhere where it will receive some nice morning sun, or a couple hours of afternoon sun, and then indirect light the rest of the day.

Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out before watering again. Overwatering is a common mistake—when in doubt, wait a day. Ensure your pot has drainage holes to prevent soggy roots.

Philodendron Mars is humidity-tolerant and does well in average household levels. That said, it will appreciate a bit of extra humidity if your air is particularly dry, especially in winter months.

Like most philodendrons, Mars is toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of curious cats, dogs, or small children.
