Thaumatophyllum xanadu enjoys plenty of bright, indirect light. Some gentle morning sun will keep it happy, but avoid harsh midday rays.

Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Water deeply but ensure proper drainage to prevent soggy roots.

They prefer higher humidity levels, though they can adapt to average indoor humidity. A light misting or a humidifier can encourage lush growth.

While not highly toxic, the plant contains calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause irritation if ingested by pets.

Rotate the pot every couple of weeks to ensure even growth and prevent the plant from leaning toward the light. Regular pruning of lower leaves will maintain its compact, bushy appearance.
